Now, because my account is closed I can't withdraw my cash rewards. They didn't give an actual reason for my account to be closed. So, they closed my account without notifying me first to give me time to withdraw the funds. Spoke to the supervisor and he said because the account was closed by the bank the rewards are gone. Called BoA again and they tried to just send a check but because the card was closed they couldn't send me the money. Went to try and withdraw it on the app but wouldn't let me. I figured that was it till I remembered I have $1,300+ rewards cash that I have been saving on that card. Said this sounds like a mistake and asked if they could just open it back up and they said once it's closed they can't reopen but I can apply for a new one. When I asked for more they said there aren't any notes as to why it was closed. Called up to see why but they only gave the same vague answer that was on the letter they sent me. My card got declined and I thought it was just a mistake till I got a letter earlier this month (after my card was already closed) saying it was closed. Last month my credit card was closed by the bank.
